Ideas for the classroom:
Post Christmas Song sheets around the room/hallway. Put students in groups and see if they can correctly identify all twenty songs. The first group with all 20 correct answers wins!
Project each example one at a time on the board. Ask students to write down their guess after each example is shown. You could give students 10 seconds to sing on their own.
Make it a race! Print multiple copies of each example and put students in groups. Groups get one sheet at a time and must successfully sing the song for you on solfege. Once they correctly sing an example, they get the next Christmas Song example. The first group to complete all examples wins! Pro tip: print each example on different color pieces of paper. If I was doing this as a race, I would only use 10 examples max. But you could use examples #11-20 on a different day.
